VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers are vital to any organization. Here at St. Bernard, the tuition is kept at a reasonable rate thanks to the volunteers. Volunteer services prevent unnecessary spending. Several opportunities to help are available throughout the year. 

Many Omaha Catholic Parishes have a Parent Service Hour Requirement Program. While some parishes charge an additional tuition fee if parents do not volunteer a specific number, we at St. Bernard are confident that our parents will voluntarily commit to making a difference through their volunteer hours. We ask that each family contribute 20 hours of volunteer time, and single parent families contribute 15 hours of volunteer time. Our current policy is to highly encourage parents to participate in each of the three major fund-raisers, as well as the many volunteer opportunities available throughout the parish. 

There are three major fundraisers at St. Bernard. Each event needs volunteers in order to be successful.
